Wicked Concert on July 30!
A musical celebration has been created based around the hit Stephen Schwartz-Winnie Holzman musical, Wicked. Entitled Changed for Good, this concert will celebrate the msuic from this hit musical and will be presented by Ryan Black’s 88’s Cabaret. Taking place on July 30, 2007 this concert promises to be a hit with all the fans who have fallen in love with the music of Wicked. The event will be held at the Eleven Restaurant and Club in West Hollywood, California and some of the greatest names in the business will be on stage eager to sing some of the hit songs from this musical.
Performers will include such names as Deborah Gibson, Wilson Cruz, Eden Espinosa, Megan Hilty, Mark Indelicato, Jai Rodriquez, and Erika Amato as well as The Greater Los Angeles Cathedral Choir, Melaney Collins, Kim Huber, Kevin Ealy, Danny Calvert, Misty Cotton, Bruce Vilanch and many others. Wicked Events at Universal Studios!
Universal Studios Hollywood, the theme park for lovers of movies and all things Hollywood, is taking advantage of the incredible success of the Stephen Schwartz/Winnie Holzman musical “Wicked” which is playing at the nearby Pantages THeater in Los Angeles, California. Wicked 2008 Tour Destinations Announced

Wicked one High-Grossing Musical!

New Cast Members Start in West End’s Wicked!

It has been announced that on Monday, July 16, 2007, the cast will change up in London’s production of the smash hit musical “Wicked,” written by Stephen Schwartz and Winnie Holzman. Lenny Wolpe Enjoying Playing The Wizard of Oz!
Lenny Wolpe has taken over the role of the Wizard, which he originated in workshops of Wicked, and he is now playing the role on Broadway. Since July 10, 2007 when he stepped back into the shoes of the character whom he workshopped so long ago, Wolpe has greatly enjoyed being back on the stage in the all-powerful role of the Wizard of Oz, which he took over from David Garrison who left the cast on July 8, 2007.
The rest of the current cast of Wicked include Julia Murney as Elphaba, Kendra Kassebaum as Glinda, Jayne Hoydyshell as Madame Morrible, Sebastian Arcelus as Fiyero, Cristy Candler as Nessarose, Logan LIpton as Boq and Steven Skybell as Dr. Dillamond, all coming togehter to create the kind of show you cannot see anywhere else and one which you could be foolish to miss out on if you have the chance to view it for yourself!

Dogs Are Loved by Wicked Cast
If one of your favorite things about the Wizard of Oz novel and subsequent film and stage adaptations is the existence of Toto, Dorothy’s dog, then you should be happy to know that the existence of puppy love is not gone even though the smash-hit “Wicked” takes place before Dorothy and her little dog ever arrived in the Emerald City on their search for the Wizard.
