If you’re a Norfolk resident and haven’t yet picked up your Wicked tickets, you’re in luck as the Broadway musical is giving away some of the tickets via a lottery during its three week run at the Chrysler Hall. With tickets running as much as $100 a pop, it is no wonder that more people are coming two and a half hours early like the rest of the hopeful lottery players to get their Wicked fix! With $25 cash in your pocket and a lucky draw, you could be a winner if you play by all the rules - “I came up here expecting to see a lot of people, but I’m the only one,” Shawn Lawhorn said just before Thursday’s matinee performance. Lawhorn is unemployed, so getting the tickets at a reduced rate really helps her survive during these harsh economic times. “It’s more affordable for me because I really didn’t want to spend $87.00,” she continued.

You can get two tickets at $25 each and you’ll need to have cash — no credit cards or checks.
