Alexia Khadime Returns to Wicked

Wicked tickets are currently available in serveral cities worldwide, the longest-running international show, however, is the one currently playing in London at the West End’s Appolo Victoria Theatre. London fans are excited to soon be welcoming Alexia Khadime back for the role of Elphaba in Wicked, which she filled for six months last year, filling in for Kerry Ellis who  was making her Broadway debut at the time. Khadime has been acting for quite some time now, and among her impressive stage credits she is the youngest actress ever to play the part of the adult Nala in The Lion King, a part she filled in 2001 when she was only 17.

For those of us on this side of the Atlantic, we can look forward to enjoying the performances of several amazing actresses over here as well. In New York the part of Elphaba is filled by Nicole Parker, in San Francisco Teal Wicks plays the part of the green girl, in the first tour company Donna Vivino is Elphaba and in the second tour she is played by Marcie Dodd. Internationally Elphaba is played by Higuchi Asami in Tokyo, Amanda Harrison in Melbourne, and Willemijn Verkaik in Stuttgart.
