As many theatre fans are aware, Wicked, the Musical, now has two shows on tour. They are both finishing off month-long stays in Portland, Oregon and Fort Meyers, Florida, before they continue on to their next respective venues. The first national tour company, which launched in 2008, will be heading to Salt Lake City, Utah to play at Capitol Theatre. The first national tour company is currently starring Donna Vivino as Elphaba, Katie Rose Clarke as Glinda, Myra Lucretia Taylor as Madame Morrible, Lenny Wolpe as the Wizard, Richard H. Blake as Fiyero, Ben Leibert as Boq, Amanda Rose as Nessarose, and Paul Slase Smith as Dr. Dillamond.
The second national tour will be making its way to Birmingham, Alabama to play at the BJCC Concert Hall. The second tour stars Marcie Dodd as Elphaba, Helene Yorke as Glinda, Marilyn Caskey as Madame Morrible, Tom McGowan as The Wizard, David De Vries as Doctor Dillamond, Colin Donnell as Fiyero, Tedy Ely as Boq, and Kristine Reese as Nessarose. The second tour opened on March 7th in Fort Meyers, Florida.
