Wicked’s Lambert Advances in American Idol

Adam Lambert, who previously played the stand-by for Fiyero in the tour of Wicked, is now  advancing into the top 11 as he continues to gain support on the show. Lambert has continued to bring in the votes on the stage, and his incredible ability as an an artist has been evident recently through hsi performances on Idol, most notably in his performance of Michal Jackson’s hit soong “Black and White.” Not only did he do well, but he also managed to turn it into a theatrical event that brought one of the judges to tears.

Wicked tickets are currently available at StubHub.com and the musical, which first hit the stage in 2003, is now one of the greatest sensations of all time. The musical is the prequel to the famous story of The Wizard of Oz, which most know of as the incredibly lasting and timeless movie that was made in 1939 starring Judy Garland. In Wicked the story of the two main witches of Oz is told, with surprising results. This incredible production has now become the most popular musical in New York and has gained fame for itsel throughout several other countries including Japan.
