Wicked Idolist

Wicked’s Adam Lambert has beat out other contestants to become a finalist on  American Idol. The artist is known for his artistic style and is now one  of the most well-known understudies for the part of Fiyero in Wicked. As one of the “Lucky 13″ the artist still has a fair amount of competition left, but as oneo f the top 13, he has already made a name for himself as a well-loved singer. Lambert first began singing when he was only 10 years old, and from there he took off, eventually becoming an acclaimed  artist on the stage with his performance in The Ten Commandments at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

Prior to Ten Commandments he was a member of the cast of Musical Hair for the European tour, which was the turning point for him as an artist. He was cast as the Fiyero understudy in the first national tour of Wicked, and during that time he began working with composer/guitarist Monte Pittman.

Fiyero is the prince, all-around-good/good-looking-guy, and the love interest of two of the main characters in Wicked. In the musical he first appears as a carefree, pleased-to-be-me, near-do-well, but later a deeper and stronger side to his nature is revealed. To get Wicked tickets, come to StubHub.com today!
