Wicked tickets are now on sale for Omaha, Nebraska, where the musical will be making its run at the Orpheum theater starting May 6th and ending on the 31 of that month. The musical is greatly anticipated, and has already gained a reputation for providing an excellent economic boost for the cities that it has appeared in. The musical became one of the biggest things on Broadway starting in 2003, when it made its debut. Since then it has become one of the favorites of the stage, appearing before packed houses everywhere that it goes. It is a musical that has warmed the hearts of many in this first decade of the 21st Century.
Wicked will also be launching its second national tour tomorrow, with a performance at the Barbara B. Mann PAH in Fort Meyers, Florida. This second tour is starring Marcie Dodd as Elphaba, Helen Yorke as Glinda, Marilyn Caskey as Madame Morrible, and Tom McGowan as the Wizard. Other characters include Dr. Dillamond played by David de Vries, Fiyero played by Colin Donnell, Boq is being performed by Ted Ely, and Nessarosa by Kristine Reese.
