As we have been hearing in the news the weather in Kentucky is increasingly wicked in this record-breaking year of cold. So cold is it, in fact, that the cold has actually kept some theater-goers from attending the hit musical that is in its final days in the Blue Grass State. Thankfully the Ozians are sympathetic to the plight of the native Kentuckians and are giving them the opportunity to exchange their tickets for a later show, making it possible for them to attend sometime over the next few days, or when the show returns to Kentucky in 2010.
Those who missed the show can mail their unused tickets with return information to the Broadway Across America Office, 620 Main Street, Suite 100, Louisville, KY 40202. Kentucky is currently struggling with the worst power-outage in the state’s history. Somewhere between 607,000 and 650,000 customers in Kentucky have currently lost power.
For those of us in more fortunate states, Wicked is still making its way across the US, and will soon be arriving in Appleton, Wisconsin. This is a great opportunity for residents of the midwest to enjoy Wicked tickets if they were unable to enjoy the show when it was playing in Chicago.
