Wicked’s Chicago Run

Wicked has enjoyed a fantastic run in Chicago, as it has in every city that it has appeared in. The musical will be closing on Sunday, January 25, in an article for the Chicago Tribune today several of the cast members and creative team reminisced about their experience as a part of the show.

Dee Roscioli will be finishing the role of Elphaba in the musical, a role that she has taken part in for the past three years. This impressive run started with Roscioli as the understudy for the part, but has been playing the lead role for some time now. During her time in the part she has fallen in love with a Chicogoan and  and the city of Chicago itself.

If you wish to see Dee Roscioli in her starring role as Elphaba, be sure to get tickets for the last performance soon. But midwesterners, don’t dispair if you miss out on the Chicago showing of the musical, it will be appearing in Appleton, Wisconsin, during its tour. So Wicked tickets for the midwest will still be available after the Chicago run is over.
