Wicked Louisville Opening Night

This week, on January 7th, 2009, Wicked, the Musical will be opening in Louisville, Kentucky. The cast stars Donna Vivino as the main character of Elphaba, Katie Rose Clark as Glinda, Myra Lucretia Taylor as Madame Morrible, and Lenny Wolpe as the Wizard. Richard H. Blake appears as Fiyero, Ben Liebert is Boq, Kristine Reese is Nessarose, and Paul Slade Smith is Doctor Dillamond.

The musical has been well-received in every city that it has visited, with people lining up at the ticket windows weeks before it opens in their city in order to get opening-night tickets. The musical has become one of the most wildly popular musicals of all time, grossing over a million dollars a week in New York alone. If you live near Louisville and you are looking for a great show to go see, then this is definitely the one, so be sure to get your Wicked tickets while you still can.
