Wicked Author at Christmas

Gregory Maguire, the author of the popular book Wicked, the inspiration behind the hit Broadway musical by the same name, could be coming to your home this Christmas. No, he won’t be walking through the front door, but he will be reading one of his latest creations over the radio on Christmas day.

Since he first published the book Wicked, Gregory Maguire has been growing in fame as an author. Since Wicked has become a hit musical on Broadway, the author is now so famous that it is hard to walk into a bookshop without seeing one of his famous books on display.

Well known for taking favorite fairy tales and giving them a newer, more modern and contemporary twist, Gregory Maguire has become one of the most successful authors of our day. With his latest creation Matchless: A Christmas Story he has rewritten the timeless tale of th The Little Match Girl.
