Don’t Miss Wicked

If you haven’t gotten your Wicked tickets from StubHub.com yet, what are you waiting for?  The musical has won Tony and other awards as well as remaining one of Broadway’s top sellers for months.  Fans who see the musical rave about its plot, costuming and music.  It is the prequel to The Wizard of Oz and explores the deeper motivations behind some of the classic’s characters. The Wicked Witch of the West is not wicked, just a student at magic school named Elphaba.  She has been looked down upon her entire life for having green skin but finds out she has an exceptional talent for magic.

She meets Glinda, who is beautiful and popular.  The two don’t seem to like each other at first but soon become friends.  Elphaba’s magical prowess catches the attention of the Wizard of Oz.  She goes to meet the Wizard but discovers corruption during her visit.  In an effort to stop it, she is labeled as wicked and ostracized by the authorities.  In the midst of the story, Elphaba finds unlikely love that seems doomed thanks to her new discovery.  You will be mesmerized with this incredible back story.  Don’t miss your chance to see the show near you.
