One of Wicked’s own, Julie Reiber, is set to host Monday Night, New Voices on July 21 at the Duplex Cabaret Theater. The 7 p.m. show is a “Ladies Night” presentation that will showcase the coice of Katie Thompson along with “New Voices” like Alison Boneli, Kayleigh Erickson, Mara Jill Herman, Marian Torres and Elizabeth Urbanczyk. Thomson has been in productions like The Ark and The Forgotten Carols. Scott Alan, a composer, founded the even to give light to some of the best new singers in New York.
Reiber is the standby for Elphaba in the Broadway production of Wicked. Her other Broadway credits include Brooklyn and All Shook Up. Her touring shows include Brooklyn, Rent and Jekyll & Hyde. Tickets to the show cost $12 with a two drink minimum.
