Wicked Lovers Get Chance To Star

For those with killer voices who love the hit musical Wicked, you now have the chance to be a part of the magic.  CityWalk is hosting a competition that allows 50 contestants to compete for a walk-on appearance in the Los Angeles Wicked production.   The first competition is July 9 and goes until August 20 when the finals happen.  The application fee is $10, and hopefuls can get guide tracks and lyrics from the CityWalk website.  Those interested in watching can attend any event.  The days are July 9, 16 and 30 as well as August 6 and 20 from 7p.m. – 9 p.m.

Wicked has swept the nation with its epic tale of friendship, betrayal, greed, envy, good and evil.  Wicked takes place in Oz before Dorothy and Toto comes to interrupt things.  When we meet the witches, Glinda and Elphaba (who becomes the Wicked Witch) are not yet good and wicked, but just friends attending magic school.  Elphaba is not as popular because of her green skin, and a few misunderstandings get her the title of “Wicked.”  Come see what audiences worldwide have been raving about.  Get your Wicked tickets from StubHub.com.   Or, with CityWalk, you can be in the musical yourself!
