Understudies From Both Wicked and Spelling Bee Set to Take Part in Underworld

Many Broadway understudies will take to the stage on May 19 for the much anticipated Underworld Benefit.  Members from both the shows of Wicked and Spelling Bee are ready to take centerstage in a few weeks to help spark support for the cause of Maieutic Theatre Works or MTWorks, which itself supports the development of emerging playrights.  The performers who are slated for the 7:30PM evening show, according to Playbill.com, are: David Garry (Company), Carly Hughes (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Chelsea Kromback (Wicked), Lindsay Northern (Wicked), Jacqui Polk (Hairspray), Heather Spore (Wicked), Andrew Varela (Sunday in the Park with George), Katrina Yaukey (Company) and Catherine Walker (Mary Poppins).
