Wickedly Wild in Ft. Lauderdale!

It is no surprise that the hit musical Wicked has once again hit box office records.  This time it is in Ft. Lauderdale at the Broward Center.  It hit the magic numbers by delivering the highest grossing eight performance week of a Broadway show in the venue’s history.  The receipts report a figure of $1,360,415.  Wicked is scheduled to continue its run at the Center through April 6 of this year.  According to an article on Broadwayworld.com, Broadway Across America’s Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Theatricals Susie Krajsa said, “We are excited to be a part of this amazing milestone for the Broadway Across America- Fort Lauderdale series.  With our partners at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts, we strive to continue to bring the best of Broadway to Fort Lauderdale each season.”
