London’s ‘Wicked’ cast to perform at Anti-Bullying Alliance conference at Apollo Victoria Theatre

The London cast from the smash hit musical “Wicked” will be on hand Thursday, Nov. 15 at the Apollo Victoria Theatre to present a unique version of the song “For Good,” in honor of the Anti-Bullying Association’s (ABA) launch of Anti-Bullying Week 2007, according to an article published Wednesday, Nov. 14 at BroadwayWorld.com.

London’s Apollo Victoria Theatre is the home to the touring company of “Wicked” and will now open it’s doors to the event, which will explore the theme of bulling in the community and show children why bullying is neither the acceptable or inevitable solution to a situation, according to Broadway World. The performance, which is scheduled for 3 p.m. Nov. 15, will feature “Wicked” stars Kerry Ellis, Dianne Pilkington, Oliver Tompsett, Nigel Planer, Andy Mace and Susie Blake. Cast will also speak at the event about their own experiences with bullying.

The ABA is a 67 member organization that emphasizes each individual’s role in keeping children and young adults safe, and have launched the slogan “Safer together, Safer wherever,” in honor of  Anti-Bullying Week 2007, which will stretch from Nov. 19-23.
