The Tony Award winning lighting director Kenneth Posner, who is most well known for his contributions to the Broadway smash hit “Wicked” as well as “The Coast of Utopia,” helped out on the scene of ABC’s “Good Morning America” during a performance of “You’re the One That I Want” by “Grease the Musical” cast members Max Crumm (Danny Zuko) and Laura Osnes (Sandy Dumbrowski).
The performance, which was aired Tuesday, Oct. 29, has only helped contribute to the growing support and critical acclaim for the Broadway production, which opened on Aug. 19 at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, according to BroadwayWorld.com. “Grease,” which became a smash hit film in 1978 and is appearing on Broadway for the first time ever with its original cast, including Crumm and Osnes, as well as Tony-Award winning director Kathleen Marshall (”The Pajama Game” and “Wonderful Town”).
