‘Wicked’ stars Julia Murney, Brad Bass featured in ‘Broadway Love the 80s’

Julia Murney, who most recently starred as Elphaba in the smash hit Broadway musical “Wicked,” is now gearing up for a role in the upcoming concert “Broadway loves the 80s,” which is scheduled to run at Joe’s Pub Nov. 12, at 11:30 p.m., for one night only and with proceeds benefiting the Joey DiPaolo AIDS Foundatin and Camp TLC, according to an article published Monday, Nov. 5, on the Broadway World official Web site.

The production will also feature a myriad of Broadway stars, including Brad Bass, who plays Fiyero in  the current Broadway cast of “Wicked,” as well as “Legally Blonde’s” Kate Shindle, Jamie-Lynn Sigler from “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Sopranos,” “Les Miserables’” Ann Harada and Curtis Holbrook of “Xanadu.” Directed by Jamie McGonnigal with music direction by Ben Cohen, this event will be held in close conjuntion with World AIDS Day and tickets start at $25 per person.
