Broadway hit makes it back to East Coast

It’s hard to avoid the glowing reviews, so if you haven’t yet heard about this Broadway hit musical, which is stunning so many theater goers, it may be time to look into securing Wicked tickets.
Since it kicked off its tour, performing in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and many other hubs across the country, Wicked – the Winnie Holzman-Stephen Schwartz musical based on the novel by Gregory Maguire – has received stellar feedback from prominent publications, including the New York Times and The Wall Street Journal, according to the musical’s official Web site. But its dynamic cast - spotlighted by Kristen Chenoweth’s (Bewitched, The West Wing ) performance as Glinda, the Good Witch – will not stop at that. This rip-roaring, high-energy story, which recounts what happened in Oz long before Dorothy stepped foot on the Yellow Brick Road, is scheduled to continue its tour through August 2008. Wicked tickets are available now for future shows.
As the tour moves along the East Coast this fall, hitting up bustling cities like Boston, Hartford and Buffalo, the story of Glinda and Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West, unfurls in the most moving, comically pleasing and dramatic way possible. The two girls, who met up and became friends at sorcery school, are polar opposites and the dramatic saga of how they morphed into their respective roles is a must-see.
