Some of London Wicked Cast Departing

It is a good-bye of sorts for part of the cast of the London-based production of the Stephen Schwartz-Winnie Holzman music Wicked as the characters of Glinda, Fiyero and Doctor Dillamond who will all soon lose their respective actors for the current production.

On July 14, 2007, Helen Dallimore, who plays Glinda, Fiyero’s Adam Garcia and Martin Ball as Doctor Dillamond, will all vacate the roles they have brought to life for so long. Replacing them in these respective roles will be Dianne Pilkington as Glinda, Oliver Tompsett as Fiyeor and Andy Mace as Doctor Dillamond, stepping into the roles on July 16, 2007. Cassidy Jansen will be the standby for Elphaba and Sarah Earnsha will be Glinda’s standbye. For their part, Tompsett, Mace and Janson are all members of the original London cast of Wicked, as is Earnshaw.
