“The Wizard of Oz” into “Wicked”

When Frank L. Baum wrote “The Wizard of Oz,” it has been surmised, he had no real political agenda. Of course, there are those who say the exact opposite – insisting that the Wizard of Oz represents everything from political figures to a drug-induced fit. Such rumors, real or completely false, are never helped by such projects as Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon Album which can be synched up to the film version of Baum’s famous novel.

In short, it cannot be denied that Frank L.
