Wicked Weekly Gross

The musical Wicked had the highest Broadway gross this last week, according to Broadwayworld’s Broadway Grosses Fact sheet. Earning $1,389,502 last week for the week ending on April 29, 2007, Wicked’s earnings slipped slightly compared to its earnings the week prior, totaling $1,401,980, but the show itself still out-earned the rest of the shows currently running on the Great White Way. Of these earnings, the average ticket price sold for a showing of Wicked was $96 and the highest ticket purchase price was a lofty $300.

All these numbers simply go to show that the public knows what it wants, and the public wants Wicked.
